Whisky Trail
No visit to Scotland would be complete without a tour of Scotland’s many whisky distilleries. Usquebaugh, (meaning water of life) Gaelic for whisky is not only enjoyed by Scots but is loved all over the world. Whisky is distilled in most regions of Scotland, from the lowlands to the mellow flavour of Spey side and the Highlands or the more peaty and smoky flavour of the Western Isles. Which ever distilleries you choose to visit you also have the added bonus of some fantastic scenery along the way. At About Scotland we also cater for multi-days giving you the opportunity to travel around Scotland taking in many of our world famous distilleries sampling a DRAM or two and also enjoying fantastic views as we go.
